The Forecastle*
(Photos below)

The Innkeepers' Favorite!

Features: California king size bed. Direct entry to main house. Private outside entrance. Very large private bath. Tub & shower. Direct access to the outside adjacent deck to enjoy the peace, flowers, and view of the day. Spend your time on the deck enjoying Kachemak Bay, the Homer Spit, Kenai Mountains, and the Halcyon Heights flowers. Easy access to the hot tub. Flat screen TV with DVD player over the desk to watch an Alaska DVD from our library–or yours!

The forecastle has a very large bathroom with a door that directly accesses the side garden and deck. The room itself is "cozy" with a warm cabin-like feel. Note that the king bed is higher than standard beds. Be careful getting in and out of this lush, soft bed! This room directly adjoins the main Halcyon Heights hallway for easy access to the rest of the house, morning breakfast, and life at Halcyon Heights. Luggage storage in the closet or bathroom.
