Looking over the stairs that rise to the Jacuzzi are Halcyon Trees as they turn to the colors of fall. Below is the lower Halcyon Heights lawn surrounded by trees. The far side of the lawn is one of two main summer routes taken by some of the Halcyon moose as they pass through the property. You can see this view right out the dining room window!

ALL PHOTOS ON THIS PAGE WERE TAKEN ON OR FROM HALCYON HEIGHTS BED & BREAKFAST/INN! Too many people just see Alaska in the summer. As beautiful as it is then, you must see Alaska in all its seasons! Fall colors are often seen for just a short time. On this page are some examples of what you can see if your visit happens in fall! Fall means a sunset earlier than over the summer. Sometimes, summer travelers are in bed before the sun goes down. When the skies are clear visitors are able to see beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and, if your timing is right, a beautiful and romantic moon perhaps reflecting on the waters of Katchemak Bay itself.
